We had such a busy Easter here at Boogie Tots! From Bluey and Easter Bunny parties to magical doorstep visits, it was full-on fun from start to finish.
I also worked at Priory Hill Holiday Park over the Easter break, where I run our toddler dance sessions for families staying. It was amazing to see some familiar Boogie Tots faces joining in too — thank you to everyone who popped by!
Boogie Tots has become a real favourite at the park, but the sessions there run a little differently to our regular toddler dance classes. They’re held in the clubhouse, which means parents can grab a drink from the bar or enjoy some lunch while their tots boogie in the middle of the room.
And what usually happens? Some children dance their socks off, others sit down and tuck into lunch — and that’s okay.
It reminded me of something really important about Boogie Tots: we’re not just a dance class. We’re an entertainment experience.
Whether a child joins in every move or just sits and watches with a sandwich in hand, they’re still getting something valuable from the session. There’s no pressure, no right or wrong and no expectations — and that’s exactly why our classes work so well in SEN schools and with children of all abilities.
As a performer and entertainer, I keep the energy going regardless of who’s up dancing. Boogie Tots was created to be flexible, inclusive, and above all else — fun.
Someone recently said to me, “fun is a feeling, not an action,” and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.
That’s what we aim to create in every session: a space where children feel happy, relaxed and free to be themselves. Whether they’re stomping, spinning or simply taking it all in, Boogie Tots is here to spark joy — in whatever way that looks for them.
