I have recently received some wonderful feedback about our classes but if I’m honest I wouldn’t have thought this would be the sort of thing people would praise, I thought it would just be standard practice for most children’s groups.

Boogie Tots was tagged on TikTok in a video about a mum who had gone to a children’s music group and the activity leader had made a fuss about her son not sitting down to join in with the music lesson, he wanted to stand up and dance instead.

It made the mum feel quite uncomfortable and annoyed enough to post about it on social media, one of our lovely mums commented

“This would never happen at Boogie Tots”

and she is right, it wouldn’t. In fact, we would have encouraged it 🙌,

Boogie Tots was created over 15 years ago for this very reason. I had a little boy who wouldn’t sit still, he would be up and dancing and shouting about it too and he needed a place to express that energy all while dancing to some great tunes with this Mum.

When you come along to Boogie Tots, to any of our classes, with any of our instructors, we want you to be unapologetically you and that is however you choose to show up that day.

We understand that not all children are the same

We know that children can be a range of things at different times and all of those are acceptable in our classes (That goes for the grown ups too)

We are there for you and it is as much your class as it is ours

AND If you have ever felt excluded or not accepted at Boogie Tots, you must tell us so we can correct this, our values are strongly against this.

Come and feel seen this week at Boogie Tots
